"I have to say I love MOS compilations. I have been purchasing them for four years now, and I find them to be high quality, great mix CDs. That said, this year's Annuals had me very disappointed. First, the MOS 2002 Annual from the UK (rainbow cover) was a three CD set, looks like it would be great. Unfortunately it is following in an upsetting trend of MOS compilations, in which a DJ did not mix the CD. Personally, I enjoy an actual DJ choosing the track listing and putting his or her personal touch on a mix CD. The MOS also released a 2002 Annual US edition (red cover). This mix is decent, but on one CD, and again no DJ attached. While I was tempted to buy this, it just didn't excite me.When I found this MOS Australia 2002 Annual (white cover), I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was this two CD set mixed by two great, Australian DJs, the track selection was exciting, and after listening to it, I love it even more.Congratulations to the Ministry of Sound Australia for doing what your sisters in the US and UK didn't do, putting out a great compilation which truly captures 2001. If you are gong to purchase any MOS Annual this year, I highly recommend the Australian version, it is the best choice of this year's."
