"Looks like I'm the first to review this production from the sadly overlooked Sr. Pena. It's rather baffling that he is not better known as he is a fine Salsero and is also a very capable song writer as his last release, "Mis Ideas", where he wrote most of the songs, showed. He has a similar style to Victor Manuel though he is a better singer and his material is rather better too.I am enjoying listening to this CD immensely; the performances, songs and production are all first rate and I would recommend this disc to anyone who is interested in the more romantic style of Salsa. Despite having a substantial collection of salsa CD's I seem to end up playing this one more than most - at the end of the day that is probably the best recommendation one can give."
