"I got a call last night from a friend inviting me down the pub for a drink, when I get to the pub I find the guys sitting down chatting to a guy who is in town for a music festival in our home town (Guildford) and is in a band called Arthur Lee and Love so I get chatting and drinking and we all have a laugh and go our seperate ways for the night. I get home and decide to search for the band to see what stuff they do and to my surprise I find out that Arthur Lee is a bit of a legend in his own right and that baby lemonade are his band at the moment and the guy I have been drinking with all night is Mike Randall! So I listened to a few tunes which were great and now have to get the cd, very cool indeed!"
It's fresh, exciting, it's so inviting to me

"Mike has taken the sonics of erstwhile combo Baby Lemonade and pretty much thrown them out the window here...although he's kept the great melody sense of that band, he's included lounge, folk, and some ethnicy flavor here. Definitely a record that takes some time to "digest", but after you do, these damn tunes won't leave your head. Highly recommended for the Pop fan in search of something new. Great cover too. This guy is just too flippin' talented for words. Includes all the LA pop luminaries you'd expect (Jenio, Probyn Gregory, Rusty)from this long time gem of an LA muso."
