"I know it is absolutely pathetic that a man who has lived nearly 40 years in the greatest country on the planet should get so depressed during the gaps between Mike Patton albums, but I don't even notice it when I'm in the throes of the funk. I don't writhe around naked in a corner coated in crisco oil screaming WHY between painful crying jags, and I never will reach that point. When I finally have one of his compositions ringing in my ear, however, I realize how much precious time I've wasted screaming at pinecones just to get a reaction, just to feel something. I guess what I'm saying is that you probably shouldn't come to this feller for objectivity on anything that has Mike Patton's name on it. Cheese and crackers this thing is good though. The opening track Kickin' is a punk song with just a hint of Patton's vocals playing in the distance. Chickenscratch is the next out of this world composition. Doc Miles, Social Club, Chocolate Theme, Shock and Shootout, Sping Loaded, Catalina Island, Supercharged, and what may be the best track on the album Hammer Drops. If you're not into the entire album, and most of the 32 tracks are atmospheric, then just download these. You can hear the Ennio Morrcone influence, but Great Gretzky's ghost it's original. It has a vibe that most artists would give their left one to hammer out, but Mike Patton appears to do it effortlessly. It tops his "Perfect Place" sountrack by a mile, and I really liked that, but then again I'm far from objective."
Everything I had hoped for...

"Perfect score for this type of film...everything we've come to except from Mike Patton, and then some. Perfect for a long drive, and for getting the adrenaline going!"
