"It was a surprise for that nobody wrote on this. The original recording should be in 1995. Mike Mainieri plays bass marinba, vibes, concert marimba, xylophone, midi vibes, chimes etc. So this has bit a different taste from his Steps Ahead(s) or American Diary. The album is composed of many slow ballad tunes. As for me, this is his best album where he deepened his instruments and music mind that even Gary Burton coudn't do it. Very impressive, original and lured, but also smooth and cozy beat. This album should have won a grammy award, if not, like "questions and answers" and "Rejoicing" of Pat Metheny."
