2002 compilation for famed producer who started his career as a performer with The Springfields, after their demise he played with Jimmy Page, Albert Lee & Tony Ashton before moving onto producing. In 1965 Hurst signed a young Cat Stevens & later produced Marc Bolan, Spencer Davis Group, Move, PP Arnold, Warm Sounds & Showaddywaddy. In the 80s he signed & produced Shakin' Stevens & in the 90s Belle & Sebastian. This release features 16 tracks Hurst helmed between 1966 & 1984. Highlights include a previously unreleased Four Tops track, 'For Your Love', along with material from Paul & Barry Ryan, Episode Six, Shakin' Stevens, New World, Eddie Grant, Colin Blunstone, Samantha Fox & many more.
