"If I could give 6 stars to this CD I would have given!!!! Now, what you are going to find, contained in a beautiful artwork, is three CDs: one is just piano solo, another is trio, piano/bass/drums, (where the last track features the voice of a wonderful crooner, for what seems to be the final very beautiful "joke" of the CD) and the last features two disco-like (electric piano, synths and similar stuff) compositions. Anywhere you pick, you'll breath great music and this seems to be a masterpiece, to me. The approach to the piano by this eclectic guy is completely liquid, updated, fresh, yet tradition rooted; he shows a dexterity, an amount of artistic creativity uncommon on these days. The CD collects recordings made touring thru all the globe and it is mostly live stuff. The only thing is that it could have been easily a two CDs set, since the piano solo first CD is 51 minutes and the third is just 20 minutes!!! But this is absolutely negligible. FWIW, my hat off to Michiel Borstlap: bravo!!!!"
