CD ReviewsGreat Trio Jazz 08/20/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "Michael Weiss is an accomplished pianist often overlooked by the jazz media. This recording, his third as a leader, further demonstrates his abilities to put together a well balanced group of songs interestingly arranged and executed with thoughtfulness and precision. Why no major labels have shown interest in Weiss to date is beyond me. I've heard Weiss in person several times with Johnny Griffin and Art Farmer. Consistently, his invention and lyricism never fail to impress."
