"I saw Michael W. Smith's awesome Christmas show, and Michael Olson was with him and did a special solo of O Holy Night. It was amazing. He has a very unique and beautiful voice, and is a very talented musician. I just had to buy this album. The songs on this album are very God-centered, and the music is very inspiring. Not just your run of the mill debut album! But a great instrumental and vocal collection. I highly recommend it. His new album is coming out in February. I'm planning on getting that one too. You won't be disappointed with this purchase."
An amazing Talent with a heart for Jesus Christ !

"I went to a Big Daddy Weave,Jenny Ownes, and Michael Olson concert in Crowley , Louisiana. Ofcourse the other two were their normally blessingly awesome selves. Mike was unknown to me. His vocals were amazing {Da boy got som pipes!}. He did an acoustic set. His "meat and potatoes" lyrics in his songs were incredible and left you challenged to go and do something, anything , for God...right now! The Holy Spirit was woking through him that night to touch countless lives for Jesus.
Then I got his debut CD, Long arm Of Love. It doesn't matter how you hear him, he is a great talent, working for God ,at such a young age,and you can tell his heart is about Jesus! Five songs come to mind right away from this CD...Give my Life away, The title track,You faith is a treasure, Palsm 23, and the Anthem I BELIVE IN JESUS. This is an amazing talent and in a world where we are hearing all kinds of unGodly garbage on the radio and on CD. I strongly recommend that if you want to give yourself or someone you love a give that will give til Jesus returns, get um " Long Arm of Love"
by Michael Olson. It was , and is, a blessing to me. God Bless you all Peace, Don."
Some Promise in This Debut

"Rocketown Records has a reputation for releasing work from singer/songwriters. Since they've also released some of my favorite artists, I keep my eyes opened for each new artist they release. Which is why release date found me getting my copy of this CD.
Unfortunately, this isn't as strong a debut as I had hoped for. The majority of the songs feel like they've been done before with little new to say. The songs sound enough alike I have trouble telling them apart.
So why four stars? Because, the more I listened to the CD, the more it began to grow on me. I like the theme of encouragement on such songs as "New Every Morning," "Long Arm of Love," and "The Measure of His Love." The simple statement of faith in "I Believe in Jesus" is wonderful. And he has a great new version of Psalm 121 with "Lift My Eyes." I can't get enough of that Psalm.
There is room to grow before a second CD comes out, but this CD does show some promise. With sharper writing, his next project will be outstanding."
