"I heard Michael Kaeshammer in Ontario last year and immediately bought this album. He plays stride piano so fast his hands are a blur, and his singing is reminiscent of a young Harry Conniff. This fresh, bluesy album stands up to repeated listening and heralds the debut of a wonderfully-talented German-born artist who calls Vancouver home."

"This will be brief... I first heard Fish Today, But Chitlins Next Week in my car on a perfect august night, and I had one of those experiences that can't and shouldn't be described. Just buy the CD... it doesn't try to reinvent the combo by any means, it simply does it so well... so fresh... its Fun!! Buy it on a whim and eat it up... its mmm mmm GOOOOOOD."
