It took a lifetime of songwriting, hours of rehearsals in my farmhouse and thousands of people willing to sit in a theatre and listen to us play to make this album. Songs for the Michael Johnathon and the Folkboy Orchestra Live! were recorded during various broadcasts of the WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour and feature several guest artists including Andrea Zonn, the Kruger Brothers, Maura O'Connell and Sweet Honey in the Rock as well as my friends and music mates, the FolkBoy Orchestra. Captain Don Cornwell (bass), Ben "The Kid" Sollee (cello) and Hotlicks Harsha Sen (mandolin) are brilliant musicians and wonderful people.
