"A great overview of the many musical genres accessible to Michael. The recording is clean and well-produced. Performances are energetic and spontaneous. Michael performs on fingerstyle acoustic, slide, electric, and classical guitars. The compositions range from loopy, ethereal, alternative pieces to classical, and full-out rock gems. My personal favorites are The Seven Doors, a solo classical guitar piece reminiscent of Albeniz, and Tripura Sundari, a quirky, solo steel-string tour-de-force with a hauntingly beautiful melody."

"This album is a pleasure thru and thru. Hewett has done an amazing job creating lush vivid textures that basically...kick ass.

A far cry from earlier records, Mike gets his Rock off on this one.

Though not too far, he still gives us plenty of beauty and depth to ponder by."
