"hearing michael henderson reminds me of my childhood in the late
1970's back in massachusetts!!! BACK THEN, MICHAEL HENDERSON WAS VERY HOT with the adults...he was played every where and you could see him on soul train often...i fell in love with those soothing deep, velvetty vocals!!! the thumping bass and gosh like al green, michael henderson was in a class all by his self...most love songs can be quite irritating from that time and most of the love songs today are just fake...too explicit love songs are really a turn off and most do not speak of true love...michael's in the nighttime is like a jazzy summer love ballad stolling throug h a city park on a hot july night...no wimpy falsettos or screeching and hollering just lounge and get lost with this serenading crooner...he was born to serenade...no one sounds like michael and he does not try to sound like anyone else which is refreshing. the cd does not sound 'dated.' on quiet storm stations motown is played to death and you might hear michael every blue moon...so he always sounds 'new'...if you are in the mood for love or would just like to hear him serenade you then get this cd,"

"Michael was definitely one of the most talented and gifted artist of the 70's. His music still sounds good to this day. I still love hearing "You Are My Starship". But this particular album was that deal back in the day. "In The Night Time and Take Me I'm Yours" are still memorable jams. I recommend for any music lover to cop this title along with "Wide Receiver"."
WHERE IS HE NOW?

"Incredible album. The ballads are OK but I bought this album for bass anthem "Happy". Michael is tearing up a lot of basses on this track. He wrote this as a tribute to all the Funk bass geniuses (Larry Graham, Bootsy, Louis Johnson..) I wish Michael would get the credit he deserves, he pioneered the fretless bass into fusion Jazz"
