"I first heard Michael Cooper back in '89 when he released "Just What I Like". I was surprised to see that he had released a new album, which was a definite "must get" for my collection. Even though he didn't make an album for about 9 years, he has not lost his touch to deliver some funky/r&b jams. There are 3 strong songs on this album: "It's Gonna Be Alright", "This Heart Of Mine", and "Falling Like The Rain". The other songs are good too, but these ones really stand out, and have a nice flow to them. If you enjoyed Michael's earlier recordings, this CD will meet your expectations and more!"

"I was a big Confunkshon fan, since college. You know how you move on and forget about things. I was looking for some music and saw this CD. I gave it a listen and was more than surprised by the quality based upon the predictable music being put out. Too bad the record company did not promote this CD. It is one of the best releases this year in the R&B world.I listen to it at work and in the car, can't wait for the next jam to come out"

"I've folowed this brother from my early teen years when he was the lead for Con Funk Shun. When he broke out solo in 87 with "LOVE is Such A Funny Thing",and I heard "Dinner for Two"it was a wrap for me.This brother has all the hits, beats and lyrics to have you snappin your fingers and head boppin, check is 808 remix "Dinner for Two"on Smooth Grooves "New Jack Ballads"a great disc if I might also add,to Mike's slow jams where a bachelor like my self can get his'Mack On".Mike's a great talent and was disappointed when he seemed to have fallen off the face of the earth.I was so fortuneate to have dicovered he made something in 2001,and you know I'm ordering it to get reaquainted with my main man Mike..Good Luck brother Cooper in all of your future musical endeavors..Greg"

"I have been waiting for something new from Michael Cooper for a long time. I have been a big fan of his since the Confunkshon days. When he went solo I enjoyed his music even more. Remember "Dinner for Two" from his first solo sound track, if you don't I do. This brother has just proved that you can't keep a good artist out of the lime light, because they will make a come back and continue to shine. This sound track has a mixture of music, something for every mood. I bought this CD the day before I left to go on vacation to Atlanta, I played it all the way there and didn't miss a beat. I'm sending a shout out to Michael Cooper for a great comeback, I knew you would shine again. BE EASY and keep up the good work."
