"Even though MM..Food was a re-release, it's still the undisputed greatest album of 2007. What'd you say? What about Kanye's Graduation? Here you have two rapper/producers who's technique is somewhat similar, so naturally I gotta give it up to the more raw of the two, and that my friend is MM..Food (change the letters around, it spells MF..DOOM, lol)
DOOM maintains the same comic book themed skits and comes with samples the average listener has probably never thought of making a beat made out of. Looped the intro of Anita Baker's 'Sweet Love' with a human beatbox behind it and of course another loop from my favorite Sade track 'Is It a Crime'. See if you can indentify the rest cuz he really dug through his LP's for this one. Not to mention he's @ his lyrical peak on every track and rarely falls short with the wordplay.
Yall might think I'm big'n up this album too much, nope, it's that good. Especially after being drowned in fraud mainstream dopeboys who throw tracks together just for a damn paycheck. This is about as potent as raw hip hop can get. MM..Food For Thought, make yourself a plate.

"MF DOOM is an MC/producer genius. MF DOOM's flowetry blended with his great beats makes for a truly unforgettable journey with the super villain. The entire set of tracks does not disappoint and even the guest MC appearances are worth noting. The album's context deals with food entirely and MF tears up the mic making clever comparisons eclectically to food. If you are an MF DOOM fan, definitely obtain a copy of this album. Plus, the re-released version of the album comes with a bonus DVD of the Mm...Food tour. This CD is a bit more refined than other MF DOOM/other alias releases; the album is on par with the DangerDoom release which is also a modern classic."

"other than the re-issues version of cookies (which formally had a sesame street sample, and was damn good)this is still the best album out in years.
the masked villians album still bangs dispite it was originally released in 2004.
the dvd is great, but more importantly this album will be in your rotation for a year easy."

"I've been hoping for a re-release of this. I paid $20 for a used copy of Operation Doomsday a few years back and didn't want to spend so much again since I missed this upon its initial release as well. As a whole, it has a different vibe than Doomsday, which makes it hard to declare either as superior to the other. I lean toward Doomsday, but this one's pretty tight. Several superb tracks here, but I must say that the best is Guinesses, on which Doom lets his minions take the MC reins as he whips up a terrific production.
The bonus DVD is cool, but nothing to bite gnomes about. I've only watched it once since purchasing.
Overall, a must for fans of true hip-hop."

"I'm still a HUGE supporter of Doom and everything about him. He's one of the realist MC's out there and his tracks are solid. This CD is a must for every MF Doom fan, although I thought this CD was average compared to Doomsday. Lyrics are always solid on any MF Doom CD but I couldn't get into all of the tracks like I did on Doomsday. However, I will support Doom forever and get all his CD's since he keeps the REAL hip hop spirit alive. Not to be harsh but I rate this as 3.5 out of 5 but a MUST for real hip hop, underground, and MF Doom supporters. Love you Doom...
