"A three-piece Chicago band described by their label (at the time) as "retro punk." However, I'd describe them as having a typical mid-90s grunge-inspired fuzzy garage sound with a suggestion of metal (not unlike Suicidal Tendencies less successful follow-ups to their debut album).Hard to believe this is the same band that, a year later, would release "Pretty Ugly". They changed labels (from Hammerhead to Last Beat)between this release and Pretty Ugly - achieving a more punk sound on that release (although I think the individual who called it "spectacular" was overstating things)."
