I bought this cd used and the front cover has a sticky spot where a sticker apparently used to be. Other than that it is in great condition.

"Wow, I was so impressed to hear this album. When I first heard it I was hooked from song one. Under the water just made me feel great when I heard it. This artist should be more appreciated. I hope other buyers will recommend her!"
Great debut album

"A great debut album from Australian singer/composer Merril Bainbridge. It's an enjoyable listen...her voice is sweet without being too sugary like Donna Lewis. I don't know why she hasn't released a new album lately, not since "Between the days" from 1998...hopefully though she will soon. I think most people will be familiar with the hit song "Mouth" which got a lot of airtime, but as others have stated here, its not really the best song on this album. There is definately a lot to enjoy here, and I can't name one song that I don't like. The 12 page booklet includes all lyrics."
A superb album that ages well.

"This album is getting on a bit now, but it's still every inch the essential purchase. The songs range from the dynamic Sleeping Dogs to the serene Power of One, but the whole doesn't feel disjointed. In a world of plastic identikit pop music it's wonderful to find an album which while it follows the same rules as everyone else, manages to do it so much better. And like a fine wine it just gets better with age!"
Very creative and enjoyable.

"It's amazing that this talented singer/songwriter hasn't topped the charts in this country. Her style is unique and extremely listenable. It is a highly repeatable album with every song different from the rest; also, this album contains not one clunker. The arrangements, mix down, and overall fidelity is outstanding. Highly recommended."
"If you like the song "Mouth" which got some airplay then chances are you will really enjoy the rest of this album. It's offbeat with tremedous imagery in the lyrics and musically it's quite innovative. Merril's voice does come off as a bit thin in places where a more powerful voice may have served the song better, but this album in not about showcasing a voice it's about the words and music and she does a great job for the most part. This is definitely an album to try."
