I thought they grasped the majesty of God... UNTIL... I learned the truth. If you want to listen to music that uplifts God, this is not it. Please check out this page listed at the end of my review, which explains where they are really coming from. There is text and a video that plainly shows it all about these wolves in sheep's clothing. I have checked this out myself with free Audacity recording program from the net. Anyone can check it out free using that software or whatever you may already have. I would not dissuade anyone if I didn't know this was 100% true. I bought their lie hook, line, and sinker at first... unfortunately.

I hate to see God's people deceived! God is not mocked, even though that is what this group is doing!

Just something to think about if you wonder whether to check this out... remember, their logo is mm where the one "m" is backwards and this is the key to finding out who's camp they are firmly in!

I was shocked and dismayed, but feel compelled to help anyone who will listen to know the truth about this group. That they are purporting to be Christians is such a sham. I've been in churches that have played these songs!

By the way, this is not the only song... he has another video about "I Can Only Imagine." Please watch and warn others... God bless you richly! I am not disparaging anyone who likes their music, Christian or not, but am merely giving anyone who wants to know the truth that chance. I don't believe many people at all know it right now. I think we should all have that privilege....

This music was a more rock than I generally listen to. Not bad, just a little harder than I expected.

Missing Something

(4 out of 5 stars)

"I finally broke down and got my first Mercy Me CD at the beginning of the year. I immediately fell in love with their lyrics and style and quickly got their second release. By the time this CD came out, I was waiting anxiously to see where they went next.

Unfortunately, I wasn't as happy with this CD as with their first two. The lyrics seem to lack the passion and insight of their previous releases. And it might partially be that I've listened to too much Mercy Me to close together, but their style seems the same, and many of the songs just run together.

However, there are a few that do stand out. "Homesick" expertly summarizes the mourning that a Christian does. It deserves that success it had this year at the radio. "A Million Miles Away" caught my attention right away. I always need reminders that God is near, and this is a cleaver one. "Undone" is a poetic reminder of what God has given us in Christ. And "Keep Singing" is a very tender song of comfort and pressing on in the face of tragedy.

There are some songs that are well worth it on this CD, and fans will love it. For those interested in Mercy Me but unfamiliar with their music, I recommend you start with one of their other CD's."
Undone is Unreal

"I came to Undone after endlessly listening to their other cds in progression, all of which I would rate five stars. In spite of the fact that some of the best worship songs ever written can be found on some of their other cds, I think this is their absolute best as an overall album, with some equally powerful individual songs. The musicianship alone will thrill you, but the power in the lyrics brings you right into the worship experience. Bart Millard's awesome voice seems to get better and better. Each one of their cds is a different listening experience, and from these ears, growing in impact. I also saw them in concert this past summer. Do not miss them if you get the chance! As a contemporary worship and gospel guitarist, I am awed and humbled by the seamless creativity of the two guitarists on this cd. If I listed favorites, I'd end up listing all of them. Ok, my favorites at the moment are, "Here with Me," "Homesick," "Caught up in the Middle," and "Undone." Also, for the best "Christmas Album" ever, check out Mercy Me's "The Christmas Sessions.""
