Heard this trio in New Haven last year & was blown away. Th

"... Opus 49, which they performed here at Yale. Their concert was the highlight of our concert-going season that year. I have kept an eye out for their new releases since. They are consummate musicians. But, most pleasurable, is their very evident enthusiasm for the music they are performing. I have only heard the samples on this release as I have just ordered it. I will write again if it does not live up to my expectations, but I am sure that will not be necessary. I do have one of their earlier releases and it is wonderful!

It is really impossible to pick out one of the three as being in any way above his/her peers. That said, I was extremely impressed with the pianist, perhaps because I am more familiar with that instrument and know how difficult it is to reach the level of mastery and musical communication that Jan displays. If you ever have a chance to see them perform, RUN for tickets! I am keenly looking forward to hearing how they develop over the coming years as well.
