Album DescriptionLast of the Cadillac Days is the band's third album. It was recorded in February, 2003, at Rick Miller's(Southern Culture on the Skids) Kudzu Ranch in Mebane, NC and at Judy Woodall's Back Home Studios in Rougemont, NC. The album was produced and recorded by Jimbo Mathus, former member and cofounder of the Squirrel Nut Zippers and currently touring with Knockdown Society. Las of the Cadillac Days was mixed by Chris Stamey at his studio, Modern Recording, in Chapel Hill, NC. Chris Stamey has worked with such artists as Ben Folds Five, Ryan Adams and Whiskeytown, Michael Stipe, The Connells, Matthew Sweet, and others. The twelve tracks that comprise the cd truly reflect the style and imagination of the band and has been described by the Greensboro News & Record has having the loose-jam feel of The Rolling Stones' "Exile on Main Street."
