"If you've worked up a sweat listening to the rampaging rhythems of RASA:EXOTICA, then it's time to pick up its sister compilation, RASA:MELLO, and chill to some seriously smooth grooves. Fourteen tracks, blended one into the next, take the listner on a cross-cultural journey like none other. It all begins with the Brazilian lounge sounds of "Foto Viva" from Mo'Horizions and a little taste of Latin sensuality from Rinocerose. From there, sit back and enjoy the ride as you're treated to delectable diversions from the stunning chanteuse Natacha Atlas, the dub delicacies of Groove Armada, Celtic-pop crooning from emer Kenny and much more."

"I enjoyed this CD. It has some very rare tracks, and if you're a Ministry of Sound or Euphoria fan, you'll be a bit interested in hearing where some of the DJ's inspiration seems to come from. For example, the track by "Chant" was redone and made countless times and is probably more commonly known because of the DJ "Chicane", who sampled the track in "Saltwater". If you've heard that track, Chicane's version, and enjoyed the ambient version of it, you'll more than appreciate the original of the song. It's fantastic and far superior. But that's the sort of cd that this is. More along the lines of a "Euphoria Chilled Out" meets "Break N Bossa" sort of thing with a hint of Arabic and Indie ambiance in between. Hard to describe - judging from what I've seen of the Buddha Bar series, I'd say they're pretty close. I'd recommend this one."
Beautiful compliation!

"i thoroughly love this cd and i find it in heavy rotation on a regular basis...i love every song but particular favorites which stand out are; shine on, golden brown, vissi d'arte, air and angels and 40 degrees in the shade.
I am a bit surprised reviews are not higher but I can only suppose that is because not that many people know about this incredible cd. While it is definitely a chill-out cd..it does have some up-tempo rhythyms to pick you up but all in all it's farily mellow for something like relaxing, romance, yoga or lovely background muziq...its a bit exotic, erotic, sexy, moody with world grooves which punctuate and add flavor to the whole mix...i purchase many ultra chill, nude dimensions, erotic moods, groove armada and beautiful tomorrow cd's and this is one cd which is perfectly titled as it is mello but yet not ever boringly so...the music flows from one song to the next and is sometimes quite gentle but then it lifts you up soon enuf with just a touch of up-tempo instrumentals and fun to help you appreciate either or...this is a don't miss cd for everyone - you will be glad to have it in your world music collection!!!"
