""Massive Blur" is truly a treasure. It has remained one of my favorite records for several years now, and it's truly her best music. That is not to say that Melissa Ferrick is a one hit wonder. Much of her later works are excellent, but I keep coming home to Massive Blur. Thought relatively unknown, Melissa brings a lot to the table with a creative and innovative debut album. With cynicism and soul, Melissa explores the singer/songwriter genre with a fresh outlook and a great sound. She blends in folk, rock, punk, even some metal-ish tones together to make something unique.I recommend this record for anyone who's a fan of music that steps out of the box. Choice tracks include "Massive Blur," "Ten Friends," "Honest Eyes," "Happy Song," "Breaking Vows," and Hello Dad," but I like and listen to the full album. If you like Massive Blur, check out Melissa's Album "Freedom." This is my second favorite from her, and another album I highly recommend."
