So Intense

"Melissa is so intense on her cd's and during her live shows. Since first seeing her live in October 2001, I now have 3 of her cd's. Her lastest "Listen Hard" is no disappointment. She burns her guitar on "Shatter Me" (my favorite from this cd) and shows her much softer side on "You". Highley recommended !"

"I was finally able to track this CD down (since it's hard to find MF in stores) and listened to it on a road trip. The first play through, I wasn't quite sure. After the third play, I can say I enjoyed each song. Now, I can't seem to listed to anything else. These songs may or may not grab you at first listen, but give it a chance. I like this albumn better than Valentine Heartache...not sure I would consider it "Freedom worthy" but that doesn't reduce it's quality. I can't wait to catch Melissa on tour singing some of these songs - if you are a fan, you won't be disappointed."

"I bought the CD while at Melissa's recent show in Washington DC. They definitely play better live. I think I prefer Freedom, and most of Willing to Wait to Listen Hard, but there are some really great tracks on this album too. I'm particularly fond of "Shatter Me." Some nice slow pieces too."
