I had to buy all the CDs in this series because my daughter finally joined the Brownie Girl Scouts after 3 years of trying to tell her to join the Girl Scouts. Of course she loved Girl Scouting the very first day she attended her first troop meeting. She is now bridging to Juniors. This series of CDs by Melinda Carroll are absolutely marvelous! They come with lyrics which by the way are also available online on the web. The rendition of these songs are fantastic and even more fabulous because these are real Girl Scouts singing with Melinda Carroll who herself was a young Girl Scout for many years and later a Girl Scout Leader. These CDs are great for learning Girl Scout Songs especially if you are still looking for a Song Leader. The best part of these CDs are the flood of memories when you hear these songs again. I cried! I remember all the wonderful years in Girl Scouting, the friendship, the camping, the fun and laughter, the skills and lessons learned, the wonderful leaders who dedicated their lives to teach me and my fellow Girl Scouts the meaning of citizenship not just of one's country but of the world and values that become a core of your being and finally living and breathing Girl Scouting that it is who you are, not a mere membership to an organization. For a mother the next best thing to do is to be a leader or volunteer.



The CDs have a vocal version and a Karaoke version which provides the melody while your troop can sing the lyrics. This CD is ideal for Brownies and Daisies. If you prefer songs for older Girl Scouts try the other volumes in this series. I recommend getting all the albums - you won't regret it."
