Moore, Moore, Moore!!! S. Sarabia | Portland, ME, USA | 05/14/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "After 2 failed albums on Epic/CBS ("Burn & "Closer",) and a new deal with Liberty/EMI/Capitol, Miss Melba was bounced back into "hit" territory with this, her sophomore EMI CD, "The Other Side of the Rainbow." With the MONSTER HITS, "Love's Comin' At Ya," "Mind Up Tonight" and "Underlove," Moore rode the first waves of synthesized funk (courtesy of Paul Laurence Jones III and Kashif) in the same fashion which Evelyn "Champagne" King did and with great results. There are some nice, tight and funky joints here coupled with some really pretty ballads and her incredible vocal range to boot. There is not a single throwaway here. The most beautiful song here in my opinion is "Don't Go Away," not to be confused with a song of the same title from her 1986 album, "A Lot of Love." They're two completely different songs. If you're lucky enough to find this one on CD (like I was) for under $100.00, good luck. It's worth every cent."
