"Melba sound really really good!!! That's the good news. There is a good introduction, there are backup singers, and again, Melba sounds really good! I can't hear the band on this CD. It sounds like there is a pretty attentive audience, but I can't really hear them throughout the CD. I fairly disappointed in the overall sound quality of the music here. I am thankful for this music series call Soul Concert, whose label this concert in on. I probably will think twice about purchasing another CD if it is on this label though :-("

Ms. Moore turned out to be much less

"Regretfully, I'll not be listening to the CD again, into the yard sale pile it goes. While I was quite a Melba fan 'in the old days', this recording was very disappointing, both in her voice (which just couldn't find a note) and the inconsistency of the recording (I had to turn up and down the volume constantly)."
