LISTEN TO THE FANTASY!!

"The Scriabin Fantasy here played by Sofronitsky is simply unbelievable. NOBODY (yes, not even the Richter recording released by Philips) surpasses this. the phrasing, the structure of the entire work (one climax after another, and how Sofronitsky plans them), the sound of the playing, and what not....it's just too beautiful. i'm really surprised why this work does not enjoy huge popularity (cos it really deserves that). The other recordings are quite fine (except the A-flat Polonaise, which is way too slow), but the Scriabin Fantasy itself is worth EVERY SINGLE CENT you spend on this CD."
