You don't have to speak Italian to dance

"I'd give it 10 Stars if I could. It's that good.
While in the Navy I found myself sitting in a cafe in La Maddalena, Italy sipping cappuccino (the real stuff not Starbuck's imitation) when I heard this catchy melody with a hip hop beat playing. The words were Italian but I had to have this music. So I asked the cafe attendant what it was, and thru broken communication due to the language barrier, I got three numbers written on a napkin... 883.
So I strolled down the street and into a CD shop. Handed the clerk there the napkin and she handed me my very first 883 CD. Man I wore that thing out on the slow submarine trip back, even played it on the mess decks a few times and all the guys liked it. This group is one of my favorite groups even though I have never understood a single word in their songs. Sometimes I feel like American music is too vocal... I prefer the instrumental versions 9 times out of 10... So music that I can't understand the words to, just makes the vocals another instrument.
This has that Euro Pop sound a lot of people love but have no idea the sound is not originated from America. You can here a range of cultures and genres being presented in the music. I have never met anyone in the U.S. that didn't like this group when I play it for them.
I know you wanted a review and not a personal experience... but this music is hard to explain you'll just have to hear it for yourself. This album is their greatest hits, but just like in America, the greatest hits compilations are often missing some of the group's best songs.
