Kick-butt BLUES

"Maurice does "classical" blues the way it needs to be played, in a perfect blend of hot guitar and vocals. His voice cuts rough when the song is brutal and flows mellow when the song embraces you. A 'must have' for a blues collector and lessons for the blues musician. Yeow!"

"Once in a while I bump into an album that is really worth the money. This album definetely is. Maurice is a fabulous singer, guitar and saxophone player. I wonder why he has done only two albums. This album is full of great songs and playing. Expecially Generic Blues and I Got Money are true blues classics. Buy This. (In The Shadow of the City is great too)."

"The poor cover of this album,do not reveal what we found inside.Maurice is a great guitar-sax man,with gritty vocals,sometimes remembers me the performance of Donald Kinsey,of Kinsey Report,specially his vocal tone! If you like a light style of blues,this is the right album!"
