CD ReviewsBeautiful amazing CD - something for everyone SW | Los Angeles, CA | 05/02/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Matt Harding's voice is amazing - soothing yet powerful; powerful yet vulnerable; vulnerable yet inspiring. The production is top rate with something for everyone -- acoustic folk tracks, sweeping strings, jazz, interesting rhythms, perfect organ & keyboards. This CD makes a great gift since it appeals to everyone. Don't miss out!" It's definitely good... David Monk | Orem, UT | 09/04/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Got the chance to see Matt live at a festival and he is definitely good and fun to see perform. The music and lyrics definitely work their way into your soul and challenge thought in a few areas. In the mix of the festival, he and one other performer stood out to me (David Massengill, a folk singer/storyteller). there is a website with his same name where you can sample a few songs. (big city is especially close to my heart given the storyline of a man going to the city and struggling with the cruel nature of the city and the lack of heart around him and the 'untrue' elements behind it. another song he tells about how 'it's not the only way'. something soothing about watching his demeanor as he invites you intimately into his world, thoughts and feelings as he performs.
most performers i feel like are 'performing'. with matt, i definitely had the experience of being invited in and shared with. i hope this album gets the attention it deserves." |
