"Like other reviewers, I found this five song sample way too short. This CD is brilliantly crafted, hypnotic and elegantly arranged. Miss Meade's voice is soothing and her lyrics are personal and real. I am pleased to see that a new release is forthcoming and I expect to be right at the beginning of the line to get my copy. If you like acoustic music with a creative, artistic touch, you will enjoy this one immensly."

Still Very Juicy

"After recording two albums worth of material in the all female punk band Juicy, Kendall Jane Meade took some time off, toured with the Spinanes and Helium as a keyboardist, and then recorded the five songs that encompass the ep 'Electric Poems' under the moniker of Mascott. Ending all too soon, this ep is a sign of great things to come from Meade, whose plaintive singing and abundant musical talents enrich this folk tinged collection, which includes the song, 'Eyes'. The only complaint is that this is too brief. At the end, one longs to hear more from Miss Meade. Still, a nice collection and very worthy of attention."
