"I only write these reviews for CD's I own where no one else has bothered or I really don't agree with what others might have wrote. I found this CD used for $3. I bought it because it had several lesser known songs (to me) by Robbins that I did not own and trusted that Sony did a descent remaster job. The only other collection of Marty Robbins songs I own are "The Many Sides of Marty Robbins". The mastering on this CD "Memories In Song" is very clean. In addition whoever mastered this CD brought Marty's voice out over the top of the instruments more clearly and cut back on a lot of bass and reverb as compared to the same songs that are on "The Many Sides Of Marty Robbins" CD. Personally I well prefer SONY's Master. As for the songs on the CD, after listening to it I still have not heard a bad song by MARTY, just one diamond after another. Why this CD is out of print I do not know, but I sure feel it would make a fine addition to anyones music collection."
