Sadly, this could be the final album for the Marshes

"Recluse is typical of the marshes garage early nineties sound and like there other efforts, it rocks. Think Superchunk's foolish mixed with any Jawbreaker album and you've got Recluse. I bumped into Emiel, the lead singer at a party when I was in NYC a couple weeks ago and he told me that they may be calling it quits since the band now lives in different states and its getting harder and harder to get together to practice. The distance of the band members is felt on Recluse and the isolationist title is a reflection of this feeling. But though the guitars aren't as tight as always on Recluse, when the Marshes do get together there is a majic created in their jangled, disjointed glory. Check out this ragged disc and you won't be disappointed true believer."
