"If you want a CD that rocks, this is it! Marsha is such a versatile singer/songwriter and I love all of her stuff but this one blows me away! She makes no apology for being gay and lets us know that God loves us just the way He/She created us and we can be PROUD of who we are. The title song sets the stage but my favourite is the 3rd cut, written by her son at a young age but with so much insight into the struggles that we all face as Christians. This is an excellent CD! I highly recommend it!"

"Marsha Stevens explores new ground...bolder than ever with her lyricism, she stands up and demands to be counted. "No Matter What Way" is an innovating, no-holds-barred track incorporating frank lyrics with a strong message and a dance floor groove. Other standouts include..."Is It I?" with it's country/blues flavor and strong sense of New Testament imagery..."Needing You, Needing Me" grabs your heart with a combination of rich, textured production and it's message of parental love in an unconventional family... The moving ballad "Hearts Aflame" is a tender duet between Marsha and her son John showcasing their talents to harmonize beautifully with one another...and the rousing "Light of the World" will have you singing along half-way through... The album closes on a personal note with the genuine "I'm Here", one of my favorites...on one of my favorite albums by one of my favorite artists... "No Matter What Way" is too good to pass up...Marsha Stevens is a true pioneer."

"Of all Marsha Stevens Recordings, This has to be my favorite one. I have all her recordings, but this one is terrific. "Hearts Aflame", a duet with Marsha and her son John Stevens, is very moving. "No Matter What Way", the title cut of the album, is electrifying and uplifting to gay christians of all ages. "Faithful Friend" is another favorite of mine. Often I go walking in the park near my home and listen to this album while getting exercise. I never get in the car without it.
This album is a must for all gay christians!!!"
