"This is probably the most boring voyeristic window into some freak's life that I have ever encountered. First he's forcing me into watching some chick masturbate(on the phone no less!),and then lamenting that another lover treats him as less than a friend. This is ridiculous.Get a hotel room!Nice drumming though, subtle if nothing else is..."
A Fresh Breath

"Don't let the naysayers fool you--this is an excellent album by a band to watch. Part of Marmosets charm is that, although they liberally grab influences (think early Wire, Sebadoh, Pavement), they compress them so tightly that they really don't sound like anyone else. The chord progressions are odd and creative, and the vocals, although admittedly fairly monotone, work well are still fun to listen to in the context of the song. Just sample "A Prayer for Elaine" above. If you like it, you'll love these guys."
