CD Reviews
Not essential, but buy it anyway

"Chances are, if you're already familiar with Kozelek's work (whether it's the Red House Painters, Sun Kil Moon, or as a solo artist), you're going to buy this, because you're probably a tad bit obsessed. And you should buy this, because he can sing pages from a legal dictionary and make it sound like the saddest poetry ever written. However, this is not an essential record, at least not by his usual standards. But then, these kinds of odds and ends collections are not usually supposed to be. That said, there are some great moments here, and they tend to be the covers: Husker Du's "Celebrated Summer," the country-sweet take on Low's mournful "Lazy," and Will Oldham's "New Partner," all of which make this CD worthy of your hard-earned cash."
Absolutely Essential

"The CD is a magic time warp. If it's in the CD player I'll sit in the car for two hours even when I've already gotten home."
Another wonderful collection.

"Something about Mark Kozelek's music must cause a release of endorphins in my brain. His is comfort music."
Beautiful! Covers Record of Various Artists!

"This CD does feel a bit disjointed, Kozelek shines as always. It is a collection of singles that Mark Kozelek has covered througout the years. There is even a children's song from YO Gabba Gabba!, by far the most popular song on itunes. I like these songs a tad bit more then the Modest Mouse cover album, but the record does not flow as well. BUY the first SUn KIl Moon record, then buy this. Kozelek's voice is pure beauty."
