"Feldman plays beautifully and brilliantly on his own contemporary compositions. While the music could be consider "avant-garde" it is at once emotionally accessible; expressive and soulful. The range of texture and color is truly astonishing. He extends the limits of the violin to the point of re-defining technique. While at the same time expressing a broad range of feeling; from sardonic wit to deep pathos, from ebullient joy to mordent despair, all without compromising the lush romantic beauty of the violin itself. This is a must have for the contemporary music listener and those that listen past categories alike."
Incredibly inventive, irresistibly listenable.

"If you've not yet had the luxury of hearing Mark Feldman play, you're in for a wonderful treat when you hear this CD. He has a huge range of colors and emotions in his writing and his playing--not to mention his incisive intelligence and clever wit. This one is a must-own."
