"The good news is that this disc is worth every penny of the price, so much great music, so far ahead of its time, the reproductions do this classic record justice. Jazzy, mind expanding, they just dont make this type of record any more. I bought the record when it came out. The city" is just a cut above everything, with song for you and tramp and young girl right up there. The sad news is that there will be no reunion other than the 1998 Nightmusic...which was good also. Johnny almond has cancer, he recently did a concert(benfit) horning him in San Jose. Click on goggle " Johnny almonds last bash" for the sad detials, some of the other members of Mark-almond were there(not jon mark, I missed it and called to see if they recorded it, they did not....its history, I very I missed it, but I went out and bought this cd, and man I hope and pray someday this group will get the honor it deserves........I dont know what happened to jon mark , last I heard he was in new zeland.......it you were there at the time this record came out, you know what I mean, if you were not born then....and want a time trip back...by all means get this disc."

"This is the best compilation avaiable on Mark-Almond it contains their first album in its entirety. Most of the cuts off the 2nd album and one
cut off their 3rd album. For me that sums it up, others may complain that
this release omits some cuts from their later albums. But their later material was not as fresh and inspiring as the earlier work. This is the essential Mark-Almond the meat and potatoes. Don't think twice about purchasing this CD. Just get it, sit back your going to enjoy it from start to finish."
