CD ReviewsGreat jazz-rock synthesis D. Ichino | 12/06/1998 (5 out of 5 stars) "great drummer, great jon mark vocals, any fan of this greatly under-rated band should like this 1976 effort.Mark-almond is usually pegged as a jazz-rock fusion band, but this is vastly missing the lyrical song-writing talents of jon mark, the band leader.A 70's band that is unfortunately greatly forgotten!!!" Well Worth the Wait! Steven R. Dean | Cape Cod, Ma | 02/28/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "I finally found a copy of this on ebay from Germany and purchased it for almost as much money as the Fan Club box set by Jellyfish. Well worth it!! The sound quality is very good and the songs are pure beauty. The true surprise is Busy On The Line, a true rocker with Billy Cobham going beyond himself on the drums. This album, along with the secret assault of Johnny Almond on sax and flute has a lot of violin courtesy of Greg Bloch which adds a new dimension to their sound. For beginners, check out Black Sun greatest hits for all their music prior to this CD. Good luck finding this one, I waited a year on Amazon and ebay, as well as Gemm before I finally found it. As always, under great headphones will send you to a land you rarely get to enjoy. Happy hunting!" Long time coming, long time gone D. Ichino | 09/25/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "The M/A rendition of 'New York State of Mind' is incomparable. The Album is esoteria to the nines. That's why WE in the know can't get it on CD. I've a wax version. I want to memorialize it digitally. Where 'o where?"
