"It's a shame Marisela doesn't promote her music in Mexico... she is the best singer i've ever listened to. Everytime I go to the music shop I always ask if there is something new from Marisela, finally "La Otra" came up. I have bought every single album she has released. The way she sings is unique... i spend hours playing and re-playing her music. Marisela: please come to Mexico... you would be surprised to see so many fans at your concert. and don't disappear from us please!!! I do love you!!!"

"First of all, I am very excited to see a new Marisela CD (It was about time!) This CD follows the usual Marisela format, ballads which illustrate her great, ethereal voice. The title song,"Voy a Quitarme el Anillo" is awesome. Ballads like "El Baul de Los Recuerdos" and "La Otra" will definitely be to people's liking. The rhythmic, "Flechazo de Cupido" demonstrates Marisela's verstility with rhythm. I am absolutely enjoying this new musical production."
