"This 12CD box set ( 5" x 5" x 1.2" flip-top) is a fantastic compilation and a celebration of Marillion's singles from the "Fish" years 1982-1988; each CD comes in original individual flat card picture sleeve, and it is a picture CD which reproduce the original artwork cover. "I've checked out this item at my local record store for you: The discs are wrapped in thin cardboard covers, featuring the original cover artwork plus digital remastering, obviously. All this is packaged in a sort of black cigarette-case. The front side shows a silver print of the jester, holding a mask in front of his face. OK, there's nothing wrong with the music itself, yet I think it's strange to listen to CD-singles of a band whose albums always have been definite artistic statements. And with the exception of a few live cuts and alternative versions, there's nothing here you cannot find elsewhere on these recently released double-disc sets of all Marillion albums. There's actually no point in shelling out the cash for numerous 'radio edits' or 'seven inch mixes', since the full-length versions can be found on the aforementioned albums, and are certainly superior to the edits. Even much sought-after singles b-sides like "Freaks" or "Tux on" are available on these double-disc sets. In my opinion, the band has missed the chance to come up with really previously unreleased material. Besides, there's a lack of liner notes and other information. All in all, a nice birthday gift for Marillion fans, even if it's vaguely unsatisfying."
I want to be burried with this box set!

"What an amazing treat EMI has blessed us with! Be sure to give thanks to the gods of prog rock when you go to bed tonight. Nothing short of brilliant. The music kicks...the remastering is superb and the packaging is beautiful! All hail Marillion!"

"A quick favorite for any fan of Marillion. I've listened to it repeatedly since receiving it a Christmas gift this year, and it instantly became my favorite Marillion C.D;(s). Thhere are multiple versions of live songs, and the artwork and arrangement of the box set itself is impressive.Well worth the price tag!"
What any fan has waited for...

"Dear friends, I must say that this is the best release Marillion has given in years. It's everything a fan ha dreamt of, specially those who discovered this great band too late in time to get the original singles. The whole bunch, whith ALL the different version of the singles, in a boxed set, with really good quality sound is too much to believe. If you are a fan and still haven't got it, you should. If you're not a fan, the it's a great chance to get a really deep look into the best songs of this great band. Slainthe Mhath!"
