"When listening to this CD, it is clear that Jose Hernandez wanted to make this CD to show that Mariachi is capable of so much and that they should be respected for their great musicianship. Poeta y Campesino is a musical piece that shows this. The arrangements are well done and songs are played with much feeling. If you are looking for a more tradtional album of Mariachi music from Sol de Mexico, Mi Mariachi and Homenaje al Mariachi are good choices."
