"Maria Luisa Landin is a fabulous singer of boleros. A lovely voice, full of emotion. Just the way she sings the word "ahora" can break your heart! This is a wonderful collection of 39 gorgeous, heart-wrenching songs. Ay, como sufro .. y como me encanta! And, what makes this collection really special -- the liner notes include each song's composer, the date it was recorded, and the band that accompanied her. These bands are fabulous. Some of them sound very Latin; others have a North American big-band sound."
She's fabulous

"I really don't mind about clips and pops, in fact, I prefer a little background noise rather than the metalic sound resulting from too much "cleaning" of the originals. I have a collection of Maria Luisa's old 78 r.p.m records, including her "Contestación a Nosotros", a song I haven't found in any compilation and I enjoy those recordings with all the noise time has placed on them. This 2 CD's set is, in my opinion, one of the best compilations I have heard of Maria Luisa's songs."
Poor remasterization

"I can't believe how an old record company like RCA has placed a product with tracks full of clicks & pops and other noises NOT PROPERLY from a cd. I DO NOT RECOMMEND A PRODUCT ESPECIALLY IF YOU PAY A LOT OF MONEY TO BUY IT."
