"I strongly disagree w/ the first reviewer. Yes, I own and love "Mannequin" and "Blue Desert" and even "A Hole In the Wall", but if you give this a chance, it has all the charms of the aforementioned. "This Independence" is one of the greatest songs I've heard in years, and apparently Manhattan Transfer agrees as they cover it. This has a techno eighties feel to it, different from the smoothe LA Jay Graydon production of Blue Desert. Interestingly enough, I saw Jay Graydon live in Hollywood one night (years ago) and Marc Jordan was standing right next to me! He is a very nice, super talented guy. This recording is essential."

"Simply put...an ageless album.The melodies and emotions have over the years positioned this album at the top of my list,including top song(s)honors,second only to Yes' Turn of the Century (from 'Going for the One'). Wonderful work,Mr.Jordan."
