"For these 12 tracks, the sound is original, remastered, not tinny, and very very enjoyable. These depict Mantovani at his

best. I would caution anyone buying this CD to remember that some of these tracks, while sounding good, are quite old. Specifically, track #2 has a small glitch whereby the sounds breaks, but comes back almost immediately. Track #5 has a similar break in continuity, but it is somewhat more pronounced.

If you are someone who plays this kind of music in the background only, then you might not even notice such glitches. But, if you are one to sit and garner the ebb and flow of every nuance of Mantovani, you will have to overcome the glitches. In any case, once you have done so, the slow and easy pace of tracks like Misty, and I Wish You Love, will mesmerize."
