Album DescriptionIn a declaration of war against its critics and the conservative-minded music industry and as a vow of honour to their fans and their music, the members of Manowar inked their second recording contract in their own blood for the release of Into Glory Ride. The band?s second album has shown further development, particularly in terms of the songwriting, which has already become more epic compared with their debut. The album contains some undoubted Manowar classics such as Gates Of Valhalla, Secret Of Steel, Revelation (Death?s Angel) and March of Revenge (By The Soldiers Of Death). This epic album of monumental proportions also heralded the arrival of Scott Columbus, later known as the "Drummer of Doom". As a special bonus, the digi pack Silver Edition features a 16-pages booklet with new and rare photos, interviews with the band members (and others) plus lyrics and liner notes. In addition to this, the album has been digitally remastered using the original studio mastertapes.
