Incredible Drummerless Trio

"This album is incredible. I've always been a fan of drummerless trios, the best being Nat King Cole Trio, and Oscar Peterson with Herb Ellis. Well, add this one to the great pantheon. A whole set of Duke Ellington favorites is completely inspired and fresh. Listen to Bucky's solo on "C Jam Blues," and you'll be in jazz guitar heaven. This is a must-have disk, on par with "The Oscar Peterson Trio at the Stratford Shakespearean Festival." It really swings."
