Live Melvins with giant cd booklet

"The cd comes with a really long comic by some dude that's friends with the Melvins. The comic is mostly about punk rockers he hung out with in the 80s, how he's well known for drawing the cover to a 7 Seconds record, and how he freaks out on people when he works the Melvins merch booth. Mostly scene drama I could care less about and his personal live I have no interest in but it has some stuff about hanging out with the Melvins and its way more interesting than a typical cd booklet so whatever. What you wanna know about is the cd. The first half is them playing Ozma songs at Gilman St in the late 80s. It sounds really, really good. Great sound, especially for a live recording. It was Gilman St so they were probably playing in front of a bunch of vegan anarchist pandhandler junky types with mohawks. The 2nd half is a show from 2008 that sounds equally great. They play two upbeat rocknrollas from Nude With Boots, an amazing version of Eye Flys, three hyper punk blasts from Senile, and ends with an epic version of Boris. The only weird thing is you can't really hear the audience. I'm guessing because it must have been recorded from the soundboard but who cares, its not Kiss Alive. Worth gettin if you like the Melvins. The comics ok but for as long as it is kinda pointless."
