The brutality continues...indeed

"this is their first LP, plus tracks from the "our earth's blood" 7inch, and splits with born against, bleeding rectum, and sinking body.
Man is the Bastard is by no means an easy listen. Their songs are
bludgeoning, sometimes painful, and very noisy. They have two bass players, an incredibly talented drummer, and either guitar, or processed noise (via oscillators, and custom instruments), which makes for a very different sound than alot of the other bands of this era. I noticed that all, if not most, of the reviewers of the Mumia/MITB split didn't like MITB at all... but i absolutely love them. Man is the Bastard is by far one of the most talented, diverse bands to come from this era.
If extremely heavy, noisy political hardcore/power violence (i use this term because i believe MITB coined it) is your thing, or are looking for a good record as an introductory to this incredible band, grab this. it has a bit of everything that they did, from the earlier stuff, to their noise /spoken(screamed?) word stuff. a good 30 plus songs in all."
