"I don't know what else the other reviewer listens to, but Malente's "Spirit Of Malente" is a great CD, that's fun from beginning to end. I guess the CD might have a little latin "flava" to it, but mainly I think the main ingrediante to their music is FUNK, and there's definately no shortage here. I listen to all different styles of electronic music and I have for many years now, and I didn't find Malente cheezy at all. In fact I'd probably call this CD a hidden gem everyone should hear. My only gripe is that I wish the tracks were longer, most clock in at right around 4 minutes. As far as track 9 "Life Don't Work"(See other review), I would consider this to be one of the weakest tracks on the album, not a bad track production wise, but the vocal is extremely annoying. If you wanna good CD to throw on at a party "Spirit Of Malente" is your CD. If nothing else "Spirit" is a funky, chunky, party album.
Also, if you like this album check out Malente's other couple albums on Amazon.UK not available here in the States."
